Inspiration is what drives us to reach new heights, do more than we ever imagined, and recharge ourselves for whatever tasks lie ahead.

It truly is amazing: inspiration can come from someone we don’t even know, or from a very close loved one. It can be the result of a work of art, a poem, a movie, a song, a book, a spiritual message, or a day of gently swinging in a hammock on a deserted beach. Whatever the source, an adventurous life requires inspiration: both from outside and from within.

At least as important as being inspired, is being inspiring. Want to change the world for the better? Then INSPIRE someone to be more than they ever thought they could be. Here is another way to think about it: filling up your gas tank: costly; purchasing bonds and equities: expensive; investing in the lives of others: priceless.

Do you think that you can motivate yourself to do something amazing? Maybe, but it’s not very easy. However you can inspire yourself to do almost anything.

Perhaps you have a friend or family member who has issues; well who doesn’t? Most likely you’d like to help them, but unless you’re a psychiatrist you wouldn’t know where to begin. What can you do? Inspire them! Try it.

Motivation is a mental tool – inspiration is a spiritual one. Inspiration happens at our deepest level, and works its way out. If you’ve ever been inspired, you already know how powerful inspiration can be. Why not make a decision to inspire someone every day? It’ll make your life better than you ever imagined it could be.

“I learned… that inspiration does not come like a bolt, nor is it kinetic, energetic striving, but it comes into us slowly and quietly and all the time, though we must regularly and every day give it a little chance to start flowing, prime it with a little solitude and idleness.”
